My Best friend Lucas, I sure miss my old pal!
Hajdu-Cheney Syndrome
I was born with a rare genetic condition. It is called Hajdu Cheney Syndrome (I pronounce it “hay-do chay-knee sin-drome”). HCS is the short form. It is a connective tissue disorder that affects much of the body, particularly the skeletal system.
Where I worked and went to school
I had a tough time deciding what to be when I grow up. As I got older there were less options and I needed to adjust my plans. I did eventually decide I wanted to be a chef above all the rest.
My Amazing Children
After a 10 year hiatus Melanie and I got together again and started a family. Despite the risk of having children with HCS we felt could handle any outcome

Volunteering
In 2023 I began volunteering with the Grande Prairie Residential Society – We provide accessible and affordable housing in Grande Prairie
We are always looking for tenants and Board Members too.
Bitcoin and Decentralized Ledgers
Cryptocurrencies and in particular Bitcoin are fascinating. I missed the boat on computers and a programming career. Therefore, I made it my personal mission to follow along. I want to understand all the nuances I can. What a journey so far. I’ll make some posts about why I like it and where I find my information.
