I often wonder if it is a good or a bad idea. Should I write my children a letter? This letter will explain me a bit better than they can figure out on their own. A letter to all of them and maybe one day a letter to each in private. What if there is a good chance you won’t be around as long as most people? Would you want to leave a message to your older children when they can understand what was going on?
A lasting message is important. It’s something my children will likely appreciate more as they grow older, right? It’s difficult to take something like a letter, which is unique, and share it among multiple people.
